| Hey I wuz there. Left Olney at 9am arrived at Sundance Center about 11. Man o man bikes everywhere. Had a nice meal and headed out 4 abreast for the Arlington convention center. Pretty well stop and go until we reached the interstate. People waving all along the route. American flags, v for victory salutes, people going wild. Over passes packed with waving people. Made me feel great to be a biker, an American, and to be a part of this event. When the first biker arrived at the Arlington Convention center riders were still lined up in downtown Ft. Worth. Same thing was happening on the Dallas end. Total of about 14,000 bikes. The pile of toys at the center was incredible. Stacked up about 8foot tall and 30foot wide. They had also collected over $750,000 cash for the kids. How could it be any better, weather 70 degrees. John G. |
